This gorgeous set of traditional Portuguese glazed terracotta serving bowls are called assadeiras, and this set has the iconic scalloped edges - perfection!
The deep reddish-brown colour comes from the terracotta clay, providing a simple and authenic finishes accompanied by a delicate hand painted line around the top of each bowl.
I think we can all agree this set will enhance any kitchen or table setting!
I picked these up in Marché aux puces de la Porte de Vanves, Paris. I carried them around the entire market - they are so heavy - I subsequently tore my shoulder muscle - your welcome haha. So for that reason these are to be collected in person and not shipped - postage would be astronomical.
