Whether it's finding things through research or rummaging through antique fairs and flea markets, I like the discovery. The creativity. The spontaneous uncovering of beauty. It fills my heart, it inspires my soul. It feels like part of my Ikigai, that which gives my life meaning, my purpose.

A personal concierge for vintage and secondhand items.

Personal shopping: 

You are looking for a particular item such as the ultimate leather jacket or an iconic floor lamp. You might have a wedding coming up and you want a vintage dress or bag to make the day unique (everyone dreads turning up in the summers ‘IT’ dress!). One of my favourite requests is finding vintage engagement rings for that special moment. The clue is in the name for this service, it’s personal, it’s your style and as specific as possible.

General scout:

You don’t have time to go every week or month to flea markets and vintage stores, but would like me to keep a general look out for interior items for styling your home or workplace, or clothing in your style and size. This is a profile of things you like and would be interesting in seeing from around the world. Clients send me mood boards, specific items or a rough description and I add to my shopping list for while I am wondering the markets and stores. Think of it as an extra pair of eyes.

Artefacts store:

These are items I have slowly and careful brought myself to sell. Do not expect this to be fast pace or high stock turn over, this is a slow purchase movement, not fast fashion. I take time and care to buy items and they appear in the store as I find them. Subscribe below to receive updates when new items go online.

Instagram Live:

This is a little less of a set service and more something fun. I do an Instagram Live from flea markets around the world, these have an auction house feel about them. People message and purchase as things are shown. Once I leave the market or move on from a stall there is no guarantee the item is available. It’s in the moment shopping from the comfort of your sofa/bed/sun lounger.

As they say in Italy “dimmi” - tell me, tell me what you want, what you are looking for or even a general mood of what you are after via an online consultation or email exchange. For example some of my clients are very detailed and know exact what they are looking for “I need a Giacometti vibe sculpture” other simply send me a mood image of a room and ask me to look out for things that fit this theme. I send videos, pictures with prices and we go from there. 

If you need an item within a certain time frame there is a fee for me to go and “solo hunt” for you, the fee depends on the complexity. if you are happy to wait and see what I find at the monthly flea markets across Europe then I take my commission from the seller and there is no fee to you, just the price of the item and any shipping/courier charges.

There is a small up front fee of £20 for a 30 min online consultations or phone call. I have recently added this as I have found that when the consultation was free people don’t show up to the call or respect my time. This low commitment has been working for getting people to not be flaky ;-)

Postage and collection are all bespoke and depend on the items, location and situation.
